On October 18th, Academician Yuri Vadimovich Tavrovsky, Chairman of the Expert Council of the Russian-Chinese Friendship, Peace and Development Committee, a renowned Russian historian and orientalist, visited the Houhua Russian Building for an exchange tour along with Yang Ying, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of European Languages and Culture, and Wang Wenqian, Dean of Tianjin Foreign Studies University. Xie Jun and Zhenya, founders of the foundation, together with Tian Ting, Secretary-General of the foundation, received the delegation and held an official appointment ceremony for Academician Yuri.

Mr. Xie Jun also stated at the meeting that the Jenya Blood Diseases Care Foundation will hold its inauguration ceremony and the launching ceremony of the SCO Medical Exchange Public Welfare Project on October 25. Russia will serve as the first stop of the project, and this public welfare initiative will be gradually extended to all member states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in the future. Mr. Xie Jun highly praised Academician Yuri for his profound academic attainments and extensive international influence, expressing his firm belief that Academician Yuri's participation will provide top-level academic guidance and international resources for the foundation, inject strong impetus into their public welfare cause, and jointly write a new chapter in the sustainable development of 'Public Welfare SCO'.

With the joint witness of the leading delegation including Party Secretary Yang Ying and Dean Wang Wenqian, the appointment ceremony for Senior Advisors was officially held on site. Chairman Xie Jun presented the letter of appointment to Academician Yuri, marking a crucial step for the foundation toward internationalized and professional development.

Academician Yuri’s joining will greatly enhance the foundation’s professional standards and international influence, providing solid support for the upcoming 'SCO Medical Exchange Public Welfare Project'.
