Tianjin Zhenniya Blood Disease Care Foundation established in Wuqing

Xie Jun, the founder of the foundation, and Zhenya are a transnational couple. In late 2011, Xie Jun was diagnosed with MDS (pre-leukemia). After one year of ineffective conservative treatment, the condition progressed to acute leukemia. During his treatment, Xie Jun received two critical condition notices. Eventually, he was successfully cured through a bone marrow transplant, overcoming numerous hardships and various rejection reactions. While receiving treatment, Xie Jun and Zhenya gained an in-depth understanding of the leukemia patient community. They discovered that due to environmental and food safety hazards, leukemia has become a hematological malignancy that poses a serious threat to human health. Particularly among adolescents in China, leukemia has long ranked first among malignant tumors in terms of mortality.

During his treatment, Xie Jun supported many fellow patients. Some were successfully cured, while others unfortunately passed away. While battling his illness, he began thinking about how to help more patients receive effective treatment. After years of preparation and his full recovery, Xie Jun, together with his wife Zhenniya, co-founded the Tianjin Zhenniya Blood Disease Care Foundation. The foundation aims to provide support for more leukemia patients, fund scientific research by medical teams specializing in blood diseases to explore treatment options, and support international academic exchanges and training in the field of blood diseases.

Patient Treatment Cost Support: A special fund will be established to provide treatment cost assistance to eligible leukemia patients, ensuring they receive timely and effective treatment and alleviating the heavy financial burden on their families.

Psychological Support for Patients and Their Families: Through ward care and companionship, mental health lectures, the organization of doctor-patient communication communities, health education and other forms, psychological counseling and emotional support will be provided to patients and their families to help them face challenges positively.

Promoting Scientific Research and Innovative Therapies: Support cutting-edge research related to hematological diseases and the exploration of innovative treatment plans. Promote cooperation among scientific research teams to accelerate the innovation of hematological medical technologies and the improvement of treatment levels.
